Luzu Cream (Luliconazole) is a topical antifungal cream that is used in the treatment of superficial fungal infections including athletes foot, jock itch, and ringworm.

Luliconazole Uses:

  • Fungal infections:
    • It is applied topically to treat the fungi Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum that cause interdigital tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), and tinea cruris (Jock Itch).

Tinea pedis:

  • Apply the medicine to the affected area (your foot) and the skin around it, covering about an inch around, once a day.
  • Keep doing this every day for 2 weeks.

Tinea cruris or tinea corporis:

  • Apply the medicine to the affected area (like your groin for jock itch) and the skin around it, covering about an inch around, once a day.
  • Keep doing this every day for 1 week.

Use in Children:

Refer to adults dosing.

Mechanism of action of Luliconazole (Luzu Cream):
