MagneBind 400 (Magnesium carbonate, Calcium carbonate, & Folic acid)

MagneBind 400 contains Magnesium carbonate, Calcium carbonate, and Folic acid. It is used in individuals with multiple mineral and vitamins deficiency as in patients with malabsorption.

MagneBind 400 Uses:

  • It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of nutritional deficiencies

MagneBind 400 (Magnesium carbonate, Calcium carbonate, and Folic acid) Dose in Adults:

MagneBind 400 Dose in the Prevention or treatment of nutritional deficiencies:

  • It is administered orally as 1 to 3 tablets thrice daily with meals.

Use in Children:

Not indicated.


Use in Pregnancy and breastfeeding: 


Dose in Kidney Disease:

Not recommended for use in renal impairment.

Use in Liver disease:

No dosage adjustment has been recommended in patients with liver disease.

Contraindications to MagneBind 400 (Magnesium carbonate, Calcium carbonate, and Folic acid):

Patients with hypermagnesemia or renal failure should be avoided

Warnings and precautions

  • Pernicious anemia:

    • Vitamin B-12 deficiency patients may experience anemia if they have folic acid.
    • Folic acid can mask these symptoms. It can also cause neurological symptoms to worsen. 
    • Patients with neurological symptoms and pernicious anemia should avoid it unless vitamin B12 supplementation is initiated.

Monitoring Parameters:

  • Monitor hematological parameters in patients with anemia due to folate deficiency.
  • Monitor plasma calcium and magnesium levels in patients with severe deficiency.

How to administer MagneBind 400 

It is administered orally with meals.
