Jaw Swelling

Author: Dr. Ahmed Farhan     Published: 3 years ago 0 Replies

A young female came to the medical OPD with swelling of the right sided face after trauma for the past one month.

The patient has been treated for dental and jaw pain with pain medicines but her symptoms persist.

She was referred to medical OPD after her routine investigations showed a hemoglobin of 10 gms/dl and raised alkaline phosphatase (840 IU/L).

What could be the cause of her symptoms and abnormal labs?
