MagneBind 400 contains Magnesium carbonate, Calcium carbonate, and Folic acid. It is used in individuals with multiple mineral and vitamins deficiency as in patients with malabsorption.
MagneBind 400 Uses:
- It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of nutritional deficiencies
MagneBind 400 (Magnesium carbonate, Calcium carbonate, and Folic acid) Dose in Adults:
MagneBind 400 Dose in the Prevention or treatment of nutritional deficiencies:
- It is administered orally as 1 to 3 tablets thrice daily with meals.
Use in Children:
Not indicated.
Use in Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

Not recommended for use in renal impairment.
Use in Liver disease:
No dosage adjustment has been recommended in patients with liver disease.

Patients with hypermagnesemia or renal failure should be avoided
Warnings and precautions

Pernicious anemia:
- Vitamin B-12 deficiency patients may experience anemia if they have folic acid.
- Folic acid can mask these symptoms. It can also cause neurological symptoms to worsen.
- Patients with neurological symptoms and pernicious anemia should avoid it unless vitamin B12 supplementation is initiated.
Monitoring Parameters:
- Monitor hematological parameters in patients with anemia due to folate deficiency.
- Monitor plasma calcium and magnesium levels in patients with severe deficiency.
