Cetylpyridinium chloride is an antiseptic that kills bacteria and fungi in the oral cavity with repeated use as a mouthwash and is used in the prevention and reduction of plaque and gingivitis. It is also a component of toothpastes, lozenges, nasal & oral sprays, and is used to freshen the breath.

Use as Antiseptic
- Swish 20 mL thoroughly between the teeth for 30 seconds and then spit it out.
- Use two times a day.
- It can be used before or after brushing
- It should not be ingested.

- Mouth irritation

Warnings and Precautions
- Accidental ingestion:
- If swallowed in large quantities, professional advice is recommended. It is estimated that the toxic dose ranges from 1 to 3 grams.
