- It is indicated for the treatment of cold sores and fever blisters on the face or lips.

- Five times each day, topically apply to the lips or affected area of the face.
- When a cold sore or fever blister first appears, start therapy right away, and keep going until the lesions are gone.
- Stop using it and consult a healthcare professional if the lesions are not cured in 10 days.
Use in Children:
Refer to adult dosing.
Use in Pregnancy and lactation:
It can be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women as systemic absorption is unlikely following its topical application.
Dose in Kidney disease:
The manufacturer has not recommended any adjustments in the dose in patients with kidney disease.
Dose in Liver disease:
