Usual splitting is present in children and young adults.It can be seen in:

• Right bundle branch block
• Dilated right ventricle
• Pulmonary hypertension

Reverse splitting is seen in conditions which delay left ventricular emptying like:

• Left bundle branch block
• HOCM and
• Aortic stenosis
