Olmesartan enteropathy

Sprue like enteropathy characterized by chronic diarrhea and weight loss. May develop after months to years of drug initiation.

Intestinal Biopsy: Villous atrophy

Treatment: Exclude other etiologies, discontinue and shift to other antihypertensive
